Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers arganriaya.com and its Arabic version only. Information you share with us as a patient inside the hospital is covered by our patient privacy notice, available at reception.
1. Who we are
ARGAN Riaya Specialized Hospital, Arabian Gulf Street, Block 2, Salmiya, Kuwait. The hospital is owned by Synergy Medical Company. For anything about this policy, contact us at info@arganriaya.com or on 1808875.
2. What we collect and why
Forms you fill in. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, a subject and a message. Our booking form asks for your name, mobile number, preferred date and time, and the service you want. We use this to reply to you, confirm an appointment or answer your question. Form submissions are emailed to our team and a copy is stored on the website’s server so nothing is lost if an email fails.
WhatsApp, phone and email. If you message us on WhatsApp, call 1808875 or email info@arganriaya.com, we use what you send us to respond. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy.
Website use. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people reach the site, and Google Tag Manager to run it. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show our adverts to people who have visited the site. These tools set cookies and collect information such as your device type, browser, approximate location and the pages you view. They do not receive what you type into our forms.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running.
3. Medical information
Please do not send medical reports, scans or detailed medical history through the website forms or WhatsApp. Bring them to your appointment. If you do send them, we treat them as confidential and use them only to prepare for your visit.
4. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. This site uses:
- Essential cookies that keep the site working, such as remembering the language you chose and whether you have seen the cookie notice.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics.
- Advertising cookies from Meta.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- our staff who handle enquiries and bookings;
- service providers who run the website for us: our hosting provider (Hostinger), our email provider (Microsoft 365), Google (analytics and tag management), Meta (advertising measurement and WhatsApp);
- authorities, if the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside Kuwait.
6. How long we keep it
Form submissions and emails: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for our records, then deleted. Analytics data: as set in Google Analytics (currently 14 months by default).
7. Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@arganriaya.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can opt out of analytics with Google’s browser add-on and of Meta’s advertising measurement in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
8. Children
Parents and guardians contact us about children’s care. We do not knowingly collect information from children themselves through this website.
9. Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new date.
